Modelling
One of my recent projects, The Lychee Computer Setup, showcases my skills in 3D modeling from the ground up. Inspired by a blend of futuristic and retro aesthetics, I aimed to create a design that feels both nostalgic and ahead of its time.
The process began with sketching out ideas in Photoshop, allowing me to explore different forms and features. I used 3ds Max to bring the design to life, matching the vision of a futuristic retro setup. flushing out the design beforehand was the biggest help in solidifying the original idea.
Texturing
After completing the modeling in 3ds Max, I focused on texturing The Lychee Computer Setup to enhance its futuristic retro appeal. I chose a glossy metal finish to give the design a sleek, modern look while still capturing the essence of retro technology.
Utilizing Image Sequences, Arnold and its Hypershade I’m able to add additional typography on the screen in software. This was a fun and enjoyable feature I had focused on getting to work
